Join us for the Bumble Bee Foods 5K Run presented by the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl. The Bumble Bee Foods 5K will be held at the Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade. The Bumble Bee Foods 5K kicks off the nationally televised parade at 9:45 a.m. as the day long festivities begin for the 2012 Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.

Course

Race begins on Harbor Drive at Ash St and heads south on Harbor Drive to 8th St. Turns right on 8th St., behind the San Diego Convention Center. Continues north along the marina walkway making a loop through Embarcadero Park N., finishing on the walkway just past G St. in time to catch the first band and balloons as they parade by.

Fun at the Finish

Party after the Race! Join us for the post-race party by the sea near Tuna Harbor Park. There will be music and lots of extra munchies including muffins, bagels, juice, fresh fruit and much more. You can also watch the remainder of the parade that features colorful floats, bands and huge inflatable characters.

Race Day:  Race day registration and bib pick up starts at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Harbor Dr. & Ash St. Race day registration and bib pick up closes at 9:30 a.m. Southern California residents who registered after December 12th, will be able to pick up their bib numbers here. Participants who are not Southern California residents will also be able to pick up their bib numbers at the start of the race.CASH ONLY.
