Mailback Option

What is the mailback option?

For a fee of $15, we mail you out your race number, swim cap, and race information 5 days prior to the race. We also include the waiver that you will need to sign and immediately mail back to us. You do not need to attend the pre-race expo the day before the race.

With the mailback option, your timing chip will be available on race morning at the VIP booth. You will also be able to pick up your T-shirt and goodie bag at the finish line.

What if I signed up for the mailback option and forgot to mail my waiver in before the race?

Without your waiver you will not be allowed to participate in the race. You will be able to sign a waiver when you pick up your timing chip on race morning. We keep track of the waivers that we haven't received, so we will have a wavier ready for you!

If I already registered and I want to add the mailback option, how do I do so?

If you are already registered and you want to add the Mailback option, you will need to call the office at 858.268.1250 and we can add the option for you. All we need is your first and last name. If you registered online, the additional fee will be charged to the card that you paid with on ACTIVE. If you mailed in your registration, you will need to mail a check into the office for the additional fee. Once the race is sold out- it is too late to add the mailback option.

If I missed the deadline, is there anyway I can still sign up for the mailback option?

No, the deadlines that we post are the final deadlines.

If I signed up for the mailback option where do I get my T-shirt?

Your T-shirt and goodie bag will be available at the finish line at the END of the race.
